Currently a research scientist at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and MBZUAI, co-leading the Causal Learning and Reasoning (CLeaR) Group with Prof. Kun Zhang.
Education
Received both B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Tsinghua University, advised by Prof. Jie Zhou and Prof. Jiwen Lu.
Background
Research interests include causality, representation learning, and computer vision. The current focus is on developing principled and practical methods for learning meaningful visual representations that support recognition, understanding, generation, and reasoning.
