Research interests include trustworthy/explainable/uncertain AI, bioinformatics, computational intelligence (fuzzy/neural computing), machine learning and data mining, generative AI and large models; applied research includes intelligent mining of food/biological big data, industry-oriented intelligent software systems, multimedia data mining, AI in healthcare, and domain-specific large models
