Research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Human-Centred AI.
Overall research goal is to advance theoretical understanding and design of interactive systems that provide healthy, meaningful, and enjoyable user experiences.
Key research areas include: assessing and modeling user states, games user and player experience research, implementing novel interaction concepts, studying social interactions to address toxicity and harassment in online environments, and developing adaptive interventions to mitigate negative outcomes.
Employs mixed methods with an emphasis on quantitative and data-driven approaches.
