Previously served as Operations Area Manager and Key Researcher of the Fair-AI division at Know-Center, Austria's leading research center for data-driven business and Big Data analytics.
Main research interests lie in recommender systems within information retrieval, particularly focusing on algorithmic accuracy, real-time performance, privacy, fairness, and bias.
Serves as a special issue editor for the Recommender Systems section of Frontiers in Big Data.
