Lead the transformation of earnings through advanced data science, automation, and innovation. As Director, you’ll drive high-impact analytical solutions, shape data strategy, and scale machine learning capabilities across the business. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence enterprise decisions, deliver measurable ROI, and build cutting-edge data products that power the future of retail.

Responsibilities

Define and lead AI/ML strategy for contractor earnings, tax, and compliance, identifying high-impact use cases such as anomaly detection, tax classification, and risk monitoring.

Build and lead a high-performing data science “tiger team” to rapidly prototype, test, and scale innovative solutions across earnings and compliance domains.

Develop intelligent automation and insights using ML and GenAI to improve accuracy, reduce manual effort, and enhance contractor and stakeholder experience.

Embed compliance and governance into AI solutions by ensuring models are transparent, auditable, and aligned with regulatory requirements in partnership with Compliance and Governance leaders.

Scale solutions into production by collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Operations to deliver measurable impact (e.g., reduced errors, lower risk, increased efficiency).

Qualifications

Minimum

Option 1: Bachelors degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 6 years' experience in an analytics related field.

Option 2: Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 4 years' experience in an analytics related field.

Option 3: 8 years' experience in an analytics or related field

Preferred

Data science, machine learning, optimization models, PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Successful completion of one or more assessments in Python, Spark, Scala, or R, Supervisory experience, Using open source frameworks (for example, scikit learn, tensorflow, torch), We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
