About the job

Ramp Economics Lab is the go-to source for understanding how businesses spend on and adopt AI. Built on Ramp’s $200B+ business spend dataset, our flagship Ramp AI Index tracks the AI economy through actual business spend data. We’re hiring an economics-minded data scientist to own and expand this work: own Ramp AI Index, add new metrics tracking token spend and ROI of AI, extend our research internationally, and publish rigorous but accessible analysis for policymakers, researchers, businesses, the press, and the public. You’ll also build a new customer-facing economics function from the ground up: developing Ramp’s economic outlook, meeting with customers and prospects, presenting to CFOs and finance teams, and translating our data into practical recommendations for business planning, budgeting, and AI strategy.
