Engineering Director, Evaluation Platforms, Search Platforms

Google
Mountain View, CA, USA

About the job

In Google Search, we're reimagining what it means to search for information – any way and anywhere. To do that, we need to solve complex engineering challenges and expand our infrastructure while maintaining a universally accessible and useful experience that people around the world rely on. In joining the Search team, you'll have an opportunity to make an impact on billions of people globally. Advancements in artificial intelligence are enabling us to transform Search yet again. We're going far beyond the search box to create search experiences that work more like our minds and that are as multidimensional as we are as people. Our newest AI technologies are creating entirely new ways to engage with information, from language and images to video and audio, and now with the power of generative AI. We envision a world in which you’ll be able to find exactly what you’re looking for by combining images, sounds, text, and speech, just like people do naturally. You’ll be able to ask questions with fewer words – or even none at all – and we’ll still understand exactly what you mean. And now, with the power of generative AI, we’re ushering in the next evolution of Search, unlocking entirely new types of questions you never thought Search could answer and transforming the way information is organized.
