This role focuses on stability triage and debugging across Host and Firmware layers in embedded systems. You’ll tackle complex stability challenges, design intelligent automation frameworks, and collaborate with world-class engineers to influence product quality at scale—impacting millions of devices worldwide.

Responsibilities

Apply AI/ML flows to enable intelligent stability analysis, predictive triage, and automated debugging.

Debug and Test software and hardware stability issues across Host and Firmware layers.

Perform deep dives on memory dumps, log analysis, and code inspection.

Investigate cross-platform stability issues in kernel, user space, and firmware.

Design and develop tools and scripts for triage automation frameworks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose and drive solutions.

Drive cross-team initiatives and influence stability strategy to improve overall product quality.

Qualifications

Minimum

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Preferred

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Architecture.

Applied proficiency in AI/ML flows for stability analysis and automation

Strong foundation in RTOS, Embedded Systems Engineering concepts, and triage/debugging methodologies.

Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and familiarity with assembly-level languages.

Solid understanding of CPU architecture, compilers/linkers, and Linux drivers.

Ability to read and interpret hardware programming guides.

Experience with version control systems (Perforce/Git

6–8 years of academic or industry experience in:

Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)

Debugging Real-Time Embedded Systems using JTAG or equivalent

Embedded software development

Exposure to debugging tools, crash analysis, and stability triage frameworks

Knowledge of WiFi, Bluetooth, and UWB protocol stacks (added advantage, not mandatory)

Familiarity with Qualcomm Hexagon DSP and Bus Architecture

Experience with Android OS for mobile platforms

Strong background in AI/ML-based automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent debugging workflows
