Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is developing a region build service to drive region build automation to next level using AI integration and tools. This role will lead the design and development of scalable software solutions while mentoring and guiding teams. Leverage expertise in system architecture, cloud technologies, and software design to drive innovation and ensure performance, security, and maintainability. Define best practices, establish coding standards, and troubleshoot complex challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology with business goals while fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Work with a team of software engineers responsible for the software design, development, and operations for new and existing products using AI integration and tools.
- Architect broad systems interactions and be hands-on, able to dive deep into any part of the stack.
- Value simplicity and impact, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
- Provide technical leadership to the organization.
- Develop and operate high-scale services, and understand how to make these cloud-scale services resilient.
- Recommend and justify major changes to new and existing products and establish consensus with data-driven approaches.
Qualifications
Minimum
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of total experience in software development
- Demonstrated ability to write great code using Java, GoLang, C#, or similar OO languages
- Knowledge at developing software with Agentic AI
- Proven ability to deliver products and experience with the full software development lifecycle
- Experience working on large-scale, highly distributed services infrastructure
- Experience working in an operational environment with mission-critical tier-one livesite servicing
- Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership, and drive
