We are seeking an Open-Source Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on developing and maintaining open-source machine learning tools and libraries, contributing to the broader ML community, and collaborating with internal teams to integrate these tools into our products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain open-source machine learning tools and libraries
- Contribute to the broader ML community through code, documentation, and community engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate open-source tools into our products
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other contributors
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and open-source technologies
Qualifications
Minimum
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on machine learning and open-source projects
- Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Strong understanding of open-source project management and community engagement
Preferred
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience leading or contributing to large-scale open-source projects
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with distributed systems and parallel computing
