Responsibilities
Lead the Silicon Validation team by planning, co-ordinating resources, and executing for custom silicon programs.
Develop and implement silicon validation strategy, co-ordinating, developing, and reviewing test plans across silicon subsystems and systems including interfaces, compute, power, and performance.
Execute custom silicon NPI, including silicon bringup, qualification, and sustaining quality and reliability.
Collaborate with the broader silicon group on current and future post-silicon issues, recommending improvements to enhance power, performance, quality, and reliability.
Serve as the primary point of silicon validation to internal and external partners for silicon and system delivery, functionality, and performance.
Qualifications
Minimum
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in silicon validation, with a focus on digital systems or accelerators which include high-speed interfaces.
Experience as a manager or technical leadership for new product introduction in custom silicon.
Experience with System Verilog, Firmware, C++, or Scripting.
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture.
Experience with the entire silicon development life-cycle related to Silicon Validation, architecture and design requirements, DFx features, tapeout, planning and readiness for post-silicon, and execution of post-silicon.
Experience bringing silicon to high-volume manufacturing and sustaining programs.
Experience in direct Silicon design or verification.
