As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Responsibilities
Drive deep collaboration and accountability across federated teams.
Influence stakeholders across multiple organizations to align on outcomes that serve the best interests of Google.
Apply strong technical judgment to navigate complex trade-offs, resolve stakeholder conflicts, and mitigate critical program risks.
Facilitate effective decision-making to maintain program momentum.
Partner with Directors and Managers across Engineering and Product to streamline operational processes, simplify execution, and manage objectives and key results (OKRs) for the pillar.
Drive continuous improvement, and introduce best practices for reproduceability and scalability in a dynamic environment.
Create visibility for program progress and bridge communication gaps across pillars.
Qualifications
Minimum
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in program management.
Experience in Generative AI.
Preferred
8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
