About the job
In this role, you will be focused on building and growing the adoption of the next generation of bidding technology and products to drive value to all types of advertisers. This includes the Search and Shopping bidding systems (e.g., ML, optimization systems, new bid strategies and algorithms, GenAI, data systems, and platforms) and launching both advertiser-facing bidding products and backend improvements.
Responsibilities
Apply algorithm design and implementation to real-world problems.
Leverage Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI to advance optimizations of calibrations and recovery factors.
Develop full-stack backend software and implement sustainable, well-designed systems and data pipelines, with production launch/impact.
Work with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and data scientists.
Communicate about Bidding and Ads systems design and implementation.
Qualifications
Minimum
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience programming in C++.
5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
5 years of experience with bidding systems design.
Preferred
Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
