As a Software Development Engineer on the Selling Partner Trust team, you'll build the systems and AI powered experiences that make selling on Amazon clearer, fairer, and more trustworthy for millions of sellers around the world. You will work at the intersection of large-scale distributed systems and applied Generative AI, building harness and pipelines to help sellers understand and resolve issues quickly.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize, design, build, test, and own software systems end to end; Drive the technical direction of the team across a wide range of technologies; Design and code, troubleshoot and support, and continuously raise the bar on what we ship; Build GenAI-powered seller experiences at scale, production systems built on harness & services that leverage foundation models powers; Work across AI hardness design, retrieval, output evaluation, and safety guardrails, and the platform that makes generative experiences reliable enough to serve millions of sellers; Build high-performance platforms, services that handle millions of requests per day at millisecond latency under strict SLAs, built on big data sets and distributed frameworks, serving the world's largest product selection; Build trust and remediation systems, automation and experiences that help sellers understand issues, resolve them quickly, and avoid problems before they ever happen.

Qualifications

Minimum

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience; 2+ years of non-intternship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience; 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience; 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience; 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience; Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience; Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
