Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is a champion of engineering excellence and improves quality, consistency, maintainability, performance, and security with every code commit. In addition, he/she contributes elegant, practical code with Generative AI that solves the most difficult problems at Amazon scale. Qualifications

Minimum

5+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.

4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

Programming experience with at least one software programming language.

Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Experience building large-scale software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.

Preferred

Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end software systems and all points in between.
